Sections 40 and 116 of the West Pakistan Land Revenue Act 1967 and the Constitution of Pakistan (1973), 1973, Arts, 185 (3) and 199) were created long ago by the Board of Revenue under section 116 of the West Pakistan Land Revenue Act 1967. The notification was issued. Settlement Officer, through a notification issued under Section 40 of the West Pakistan Land Revenue Act, 1967, directing this survey and preparing the record of all indiscriminate land settlement and rights in the district. The petitioner, who was the buyer of the land, was allowed. The area has been badly affected by such a process; it was challenged before the High Court in a constitutional petition but was rejected. As the rights of the applicants legally listed by the competent authorities were valid, the appeal was discharged only after the notification date was issued, with the entire process of survey terminating and taking effect. Allowed to consider the question raised in connection with the settlement date.
