Government Employees (Performance and Discipline) Rules 1973 R 6 There were allegations of corruption against a civil servant. Failure to detect specific material deficiencies and payment to the contractor by falsifying them, stating that they have checked 10% of the suggested material and using their notebook service based on the material on record. Measured at the tribunal, it was found that a public servant was authorized to pay 10% of the proposed check without a check, which, in turn, led to the account officer's finding of payment to the contractor because such service was not open for a discount.
