SHAMIM AKHTAR versus MAIMOONA BEGUM

Sindh Tenant Limitation Ordinance 1979 In respect of section 14 houses, the applicant had resisted the applicant's personal requirement that the landlord had acquired the property in question after becoming a widow; Can't claim to benefit from 14. Since only a woman who had previously acquired property and subsequently became a widow, could benefit from Section 14. The tenant dispute was canceled in view of the fact that the only word "widow" was used in section 14 of the Individual Rental Orders Ordinance, 1979, so in this case the widow will be covered regardless of this section. She became a widow or widowed before receiving property after the question, thus, Sindh could benefit from Section 14 of the Rated Premises Ordinance 1979, if she was a widow and was the owner of the property in question at the time of filing the eviction request.
