AMANULLAH KHAN versus CHAIRMAN, MEDICAL RESEARCH COUNCIL
Constitution of Pakistan 1973 Arts 184 (3), 4 (2) (A), 25 (1) and 9 applicants were outraged by advertisements that appeared on behalf of cigarette companies and demanded that television be banned. The jurisdiction of the Supreme Court directly from the jurisdiction is limited to the application of Article 184 (3) as it is limited to the enforcement of the fundamental rights set forth in Chapter 1 of Part IIHII of the Constitution as the applicant is entitled to the granting of basic rights. Unable to enforce through constitutional petition the only fundamental right that could potentially be relevant to the applicants' request was the Constitution's RR There was in Article 9 which stated that no person should be deprived of life and liberty. According to the law, the possible justification for understanding it was that the Article existed in a manner which would be accepted. Along with the equality of life was the fact that every commercial on television was shown to promote cigarettes, with the warning about the dangers of smoking cigarettes, the Health Authority had always shown that the petitioner did not claim What he did was try to run a television campaign on the same terms that smoking companies put their ads on but he was denied the opportunity to do so. The source may be within the limited scope of jurisdiction authorized by the Supreme Court under Article 184 (3) of the Supreme Court of the Constitution I did not come to this while refusing to issue a ban on commercial advertisements, praising the applicant's efforts to protect the nation from the dangers of smoking.
