Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the services operated by SJP Legnocrats (SMC-Private) Limited ("SJP", "we", "us") — the SJP Lawyers Directory (sjp.com.pk, search.just.pk) and the Bar Association ERP (bar.just.pk, barassociation.just.pk). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

  • You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping your account and password secure.
  • You must notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.

Our services

  • We provide a lawyers directory, client–lawyer connection tools, and member-management services for bar associations.
  • We may update, add or discontinue features to improve the service.

WhatsApp & messaging

  • We send WhatsApp and SMS messages — one-time passcodes (OTP), lead and payment notifications, and (for bar members) official notices, announcements and event invitations — only to users who hold an account with us, have contacted us, or have been enrolled by their bar association.
  • You may opt out of these messages at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.
  • You must not use our messaging to send spam, unlawful, misleading or unauthorised content.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the services for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose, or in a way that infringes others' rights or disrupts the service.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data.

Payments

  • Account upgrades, subscriptions and fees are charged as described at the point of purchase. Applicable taxes may apply.

Intellectual property

  • The platform, its software and content are owned by SJP or its licensors. Content you submit remains yours; you grant us the licence needed to operate the service (e.g. to display your public profile).

Disclaimers & liability

  • The services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SJP is a directory and communications platform and does not provide legal advice.
  • To the extent permitted by law, SJP is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the services.

Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using the service and request deletion of your data at any time via our Data Deletion page.

Governing law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
