LIAQUAT ALI JATOI versus THE STATE
Sections 498 and 561A of the Criminal Procedure Code (CRPC), before the arrest of the accused in the bail, raised the preliminary objection to the bail grant that the prosecution had contended that no FIR was filed. Couldn't approve it. Even by invading CRPC inv61 AA, the CR accused was not aware whether there had been any other case registered before, for which he could be arrested, the accused's lawyer. Was given a clear indication of the wrong reaction given by senior superintendent of police. The suspect could be arrested in connection with a case he did not know about before extending the protective bail to the suspect because law officers sought time to make inquiries with the relevant prosecution agencies. Whether there is another trial against the accused. It was postponed accordingly
