LIAQAT ALI versus STATE
Pakistan Penal Code Section 324/34 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 199 The investigation of the case was clearly attributed to the accused in the FIR, who was in extremely dangerous condition and yet he was not in danger of being killed. The number and nature of injuries inflicted on a person has shown that no one can possibly be harmed by a constitutional request. As a result, the Senior Superintendent of Police was instructed to immediately transfer the said FIR probe to the Crime Branch (CIA), directing them to investigate the case in a neutral and fair manner.
