AMIR BUX versus STATE
He has passed the age of 18 after being sentenced by a trial court on charges of detention of Sindh Children's Act, 1955, section 68 (2) of the Conduct Rule (XLV of 1860), 5 304, Part II, although the trial court made a reference. Had submitted that under section 68 (2) of the Sindh Children Act 1955, the provincial government could not pass any detention order because the accused could not be detained beyond the age of 18 and if so If an order is passed, it will be the same. According to the jurisdiction of the trial court, the detainee was kept in safe custody in the jail, thus being held in false prison and consequently released.
