Regarding Section 12 and 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, about 2 years after the controversial award was made, applicants / affected persons who did not accept the award received by the competent authority in respect of the land acquired. Filed a petition with the collector for reference to the court. Knowledge of such award by the competent authority was to be filed within 6 months even though the applicants were served, the applicants had slept for about 4 months and got court information. Were-
