MUHAMMAD HANIF versus THE STATE


Sections 13E and 14 of a court-ordered Additional Sessions Judge prosecuted and convicted of possessing more than four inches of blades with theft and for which the accused was not licensed. Had special jurisdiction to prove it. The ordinance trial by the Additional Sessions Judge was unconstitutional and the accused's conviction was illegal and hence he was convicted for prolonged detention and faced a sentence which usually punished him. Could have been, the trial was not demanded.
