The purpose of Article 9, Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961 and its purpose, under section 9 of the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, 1961, is to entitle the ex-wife to recover her ex-husband where the dispute relates to that period. The marriage was ending, the husband was obliged to retain the wife who sought restitution for that period, despite the dissolution of the marriage, once the issue of rehabilitation was taken, Section 9 can be recovered in a manner similar to that provided in Muslim.
