The petitioner's grievance is against the refusal by the Lahore High Court to suspend his sentence under section 426, Cr.P.C. pending disposal of his appeal. The refusal was on the ground that the contentions raised by the petitioner's counsel needed deeper appreciation of evidence, which could not be done at that stage.
2. After hearing learned counsel, we are not satisfied that there are good grounds to interfere with the interlocutory order passed by the High Court. The petition is dismissed.
