AFTAB ALAM versus CITY DISTRICT GOVERNMENT, KARACHI

Article 4 (185 ()) application for leave to appeal the petitioner's grievance which triggered the High Court's constitutional petition, narrowing the road in front of its plot due to a change in the City District Government's policy. In the process of constitutional application in the High Court ordering the construction of applicant and road shops, the City District Government has stated that the road in front of the applicant's plot is irrelevant. The view is that fifty feet will not be disturbed so that applicant plots and roadside shops will be built in such a way. In the interests of / the applicant was sufficiently narrow road safety and the risk of the applicant as unnecessary. Their plot was made clear by the City District Government that new residential / commercial plots should be constructed in different areas of the scheme, the reconstruction of the project would be made with the approval of the concerned authorities and in accordance with the rules of the Master Plan Group Office. Clarification provided further protection to the interests of the applicant, intervention was sought with invalid order, leave of appeal was dismissed
