GENERAL MANAGER versus MST. SAKINA BIBI

Appeals against sections 121 and 124 of the Limitation Act (IX of 1908), section 5, 29 (2) and Article 156 insurance tribunal are barred from appeal for contempt of any day delay. The appeal under the special law on the issue of enforcement of a insurance claim by the Insurance Ordinance, 2000, which has a fixed term of limitation, provides for section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1908, to the extent specified by a special or local law. Period will not apply. Such a request for protection under section 29 (2) was not entertainable. The High Court dismissed the appeal for time restriction.
