RASHID AHMAD versus STATE

The accused was convicted by a trial court and sentenced to five years imprisonment under Section 426 of the Code of Conduct (XLV of 1860), section 496B illegal suspension. But as it was a case of fornication under section 496B, the PPC High Court found it an interesting question to deal with at the time of the final appeal decision, even if only one male person was charged with adultery. Punishment can be sent out or punishment can be imposed. And the woman should be considered as a witness against the male partner.
