----‑Corridor restriction on picking of Passengers‑No legal bar against.

‑This is an appeal by the Sargodha‑Bhera Bus Service, Sargodha against Resolution No. 29 passed by the Regional Transport Authority, Lahore on 20th August 1951, by which they allowed the Sargodha Bhera Bus Service, Sargodha to operate on the new route vii. Bhalwal‑Sargodha via Mari Lak subject to the corridor restriction that while proceeding from Sargodha to Bhera no passenger will be picked up for Bhalwal or from any place between Sargodha and Bhalwal and that on return journey also no passenger‑will be picked up at Bhalwal or at any place between Bhalwal and Sargodha.
It has been argued on behalf of the appellant that the corridor restriction mentioned above has made the service uneconomic and that the imposition of the restriction is hard. There is no legal bar on the imposition of the corridor restrictions. I would, however, on equitable grounds amend this restriction to the extent that the Sargodha‑Bhera Bus Service Sargodha, will not pick up passengers in any place between Sargodha‑Bhalwal but will be allowed to pick up passengers at Sargodha and Bhalwal for places between Bhalwa and, Bhera and for Sargodha. The appeal is accepted to this extent.
