MIAN MUHAMMAD ILYAS MEHRAJ versus COMMISSIONER (SECURITIES MARKET DIVISION)
Before the Appellate Bench for Section 21 Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Act (XLII of 1997), section 33 complaints that inquired into the acquisition of shares, the appellant stated that no inquiry had been made by the commission and the acquisition of shares His complaints for the investigation were not dismissed. Appellants also filed a constitutional petition in front of the High Court praying that an officer of the Securities Market Division, who was unable to resolve the dispute, decided that their complaint would be given full opportunity to be heard by the competent authority. After the giving, the constitutional application was dismissed by the High Court directing that the hearing of the appeals be made by a competent officer of the Commission. According to the orders of the High Court, necessary action has already been taken in this regard. And appeals were already made to get relief. Appeal by the High Court, there was nothing left in the appeal decided that the Securities Market Division, after providing the appropriate opportunity for a hearing to all the parties, was directed to settle the matter as per the directions of the High Court.
