ZULFIQAR ALI versus DISTRICT RETURNING OFFICER
16 and 18 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 199 Constitutional application nomination papers were accepted by the Returning Officer for selection of nominee and deputy nominee by nomination and against such acceptance at the time of scrutiny. No object was entered. However, the respondents filed an appeal against the approval of the nomination papers of the petitioner and the Returning Officer, according to the district police report, that the applicant belonged to the banned organization Supreme Court in which the candidate was affiliated with the banned organization, temporarily. The election was allowed to contest, so the applicants have been told that the order of the District Returning Officer was set aside according to the circumstances.
