ASDULLAH MANGI versus PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES CORPORATION
It was alleged that the applicants had full flight training and were not included in the Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Arts 185 (3) and 25 for failing to complete the training of flight stewards and were charged with uniformed staff. He was trained in the PIA Training Center. Upon completion of the training, he received a PIA staff uniform but was not retained as a flight steward, while others who were trained were also recruited. The Supreme Court granted leave of appeal to consider these questions as to whether the applicants were discriminated against. By violating Article 25 of the Constitution; whether the unwanted letters / orders for excluding applicants in the service of the corporation were offensive, illegal and without any legal authority and whether the corporation had made various requests to exclude applicants from employment.
