Similarly, both of them decided the case against the applicant and the applicant company was covered under the Employees' Old Age Benefit Act 1976. Authorities were entitled to pay for the demand raised. The ploy taken by the applicant was that the contractor was given some work which employed the employees and the contractor was responsible and the applicant was not a party to the mutual agreement between the contractor and the employees.
