If a financial institution has an asset on the books, then Article 9 of the Ordinance is available only to the financial institutions and their users in respect of non-performing assets and otherwise the Ordinance is treated as a non-performing asset. To deal with any non-performing asset under, such immovable amount must be paid in excess of Rs 30 million in clause (c), CL (g) of sub-section (1) of Ordinance 2 (1) of section 9 of the Ordinance. It should, therefore, be available only if the amount involved is more than thirty million rupees
