The Punjab Local Government Ordinance 1979 s (75 ()) approved private housing scheme, to reclaim such land by its owners through modification of land allotment scheme for use as a children's park. It was the owners' reasoning for refusing to approve such an amendment with the municipal corporation and the provincial government / ownership of such land in which they reside and were not transferred to the municipal corporation, the corporation or the purpose, the provincial government. Was not legally allowed to approve or approve such amendments to the scheme. The Corporation has given considerable consideration to its private land and to the sale of carved plots at high rates to buyers, and its owners are compensated for securing the land for a public park.
