66 and 71 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 199 Counting of votes Election Tribunal recorded the election request without any proof and for any reason stated and passed the order for re-counting of votes to the Election Tribunal. There was no legal option to pass the order. The re-counting of votes was not to be ordered lightly without recording any evidence, at least requiring that the election applicant cross the defendant by entering the witness box in support of his claim. Check and enter the latter witness box as well. The dismissal of the allegations and the scrutiny by the applicant, which the tribunal had approved without legal authority, was set aside.
