The Sindh Rated Premises Ordinance was moved to the jurisdiction of the District Judge under section 21 (1) of 1979. The Sindh Rented Premises Ordinance (as amended) now empowers the District Judge to dispose of the appeal. Sent to the Additional District Judge for the same and thus applies to all appeals whether the District Judge is preferred by the High Court or the affected party in front of the District Judge under Section 21 (1) of the Ordinance. In cases, the District Judge has the power and authority to either hear the appeal itself or approach it to resolve it.
