GHULAM HAIDER versus THE STATE
Sections 326 and 334 [as amended in the Criminal Law (Second Amendment) Ordinance (VII of 1990)] defined the testimony of the accused who did not challenge his conviction, claiming He cannot be convicted and sentenced under Section 3434, PPC. The crime was committed in 1979 and the provisions of the PPC will apply to the case when the accused also prayed for reduction of sentence. The state prosecutor accepted the trial court's stated legal proposal, in which case, the law was mistaken. Under Section 343434, PPC, the accused were convicted and mistakenly punished for wrongdoing, because the incident took place in 1979 when the PPC was not sentenced and Tazir and Throne were convicted. The accused were convicted under Section 4, 4, PPC. Amendment] was set aside and the High Court punished the accused and sentenced the accused in accordance with section 326, PPC, applicable to the case at the relevant time. y
