It clearly states that the attackers were identified in light of the light bulb, but there was complete contradiction of the complainant's version by eyewitnesses regarding the number of attackers. The injured witness, while the statements of the remaining witnesses were recorded after about 2 months and 21 days and no explanation was in the record to justify the delay. According to the controversial version, the accused was an empty-handed policeman who was negligent in collecting valuable evidence.
