GHULAM MUHAMMAD versus GHULAM RASOOL
Approval of Entry Route through Provision of Proprietary Rights in respect of Section 10, 30 and 36 of the Land Regarding Colonization Act of 1912 (Punjab) The Collector's jurisdiction approved the Entry route through the land under which the property rights were granted. It was challenged that after granting the proprietary rights, the collector was not able to extend such approval. The Collector, who had obtained the necessary jurisdiction to approve the entry route under section 10 (2) of the Government Land (Punjab) Colonization Act, 1912, in a just and fair manner, keeping in mind that the ownership of the adjoining owners. There was no inappropriate interference to the rights so that the Collector was ordered not to interfere with any unlawful interference, misleading or jurisdictional matter.
