SHAMAS versus THE STATE

In respect of the Illegal Arms Act (XXI of 1991), Sections 1 (3) 4, 6 and 7 (c) Guarantee, Section 497, notification was issued under Section 1 (3) of the Delivery of Illegal Arms Act 1991. Since there was no jurisdiction to prosecute, the orders passed on his bail were set aside, the defendant filed a fresh petition before the relevant trial courts seeking relief.
