FAKHAR ZAMAN versus THE STATE
The Pakistan Penal Code Sections 302, 364, 148 and 201 defining evidence was a circumstantial evidence against the accused and the direct evidence was not admissible by the accused. Additional extra-judicial confession was not admissible. The stains were not and were even made in violation of section 103. The CCP prosecution case was full of suspicions, their benefits were to go to the accused, the accused was acquitted on the benefit of the doubt in the circumstances.
