Amendments to the Laws Ordinance 1972 Article 3 [as amended by the Transfer of Railway (Amendment) Ordinance (I 1998 Amendment)] Amendments to the Law Ordinance (XII of 1972), Section 3 of the Intra-Court Interchange, Railway Interpretation of Article 3 of the Order, 1962 Single Judge of the High Court, accepting the constitutional petition filed by the respondent, formulated the view that the Chairman of the Railway Board was to be appointed as a Member and only then would he be transferred. Under Article 3, the Chairman of the Railway Division of the Government of Pakistan may be appointed as the Validity Secretary. The Railway Order, 1962, was an officer chairman of the board and five judges had to be appointed by the federal government's interpretation, which was not intended by the single judge law; the chairman of the board was not required to be a member of the board order.
