NISAR AHMED versus PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN
The Constitution of Pakistan 1973 Arts 9, 17, 51 (3), 58 (2) (B) and 184 (3) on February 3, 1997 called for the postponement of the general election on the basis that they were not. It is expected that truly representative assemblies will come into existence as the provinces were to be allocated seats for National Assembly on the basis of the previous census of 1981, while the province's population composition has undergone tremendous changes over the last 16 years. ? Transferring population from urban and rural to urban cities was undoubtedly a question of public importance, and petitioners, First Fax, questioned the implementation of some basic rights guaranteed under the Constitution. Was raised which requires further consideration of the applications. Due to the postponement of elections, the request to enter the regular hearing for interim relief of the formation of the general election was dismissed for the same reason Article 58 (2) (b) of the Constitution presided over the dissolution of the National Assembly. As a result, the allotment of seats was required under Article 51 (3) of the Constitution in the February 3, 1997 general election. The assembly, based on the previous census, was therefore not an example of holding a general election in the country.
