MUHAMMAD ILYAS versus SECRETARY TO GOVERNMENT, PUNJAB
Punjab Relief Department Services Rules 1987 Schedule (entries against serial number 11) Amendment of entries against serial number 11 of the High Court constitutional petition in the jurisdiction of Constitution Pakistan (1973), Arts 199 and 212 which was challenged by the applicants. ? On this basis, the constitutional petition will restrict their promotion to the jurisdiction of the High Court so that the respondents will decide to entertain, hear and decide such application. As a petitioner being a civil servant, it was claimed that the amendment in question had negatively impacted their development prospects. The next higher post amendment to be introduced in the Service Rules, thus, would be related to the applicants' terms and conditions, therefore, would be appealable before the Service Tribunal, which considered the amendment notification as an order of the department authority. And there are contradictions to the rule modification. The service tribunal may also be challenged by deciding the question of the time limit of proceedings before the High Court if the constitution under Article 121212 lacks jurisdiction under Article 199 under the Constitution. Based on this, any constitutional requests were dismissed.
