MUHAMMAD SALEEM KHAN versus INSPECTOR-GENERAL OF POLICE, PUNJAB, LAHORE
Punjab Civil Servants Act 1974 Section 6 (6) Police Rules, 1934, R 19 26 Certification of a Government Employee who was recruited as a Police Inspector (Legal) Government employee has passed the prescribed departmental examination and is more than three years old. The government employee confirmed it was over. In the post of Inspector (Legal), but such certification was denied that they were not entitled to certification because they were appointed on a purely temporary basis. In accordance with the provision of Police Rules 1934 R 1926, two factors will determine the date by which a public servant is entitled to certification as a legal inspector. (1) satisfactory completion of training, passing departmental examinations and performing satisfactory services during the three-year trial period; The vacancies were made available for their appointment against the existing vacancy which fulfilled the requirements of Police Rules 1934 KR 1926. And that includes section 6 (6) of the Punjab Civil Servants Act, 1974, because it had passed the training course and it had served satisfactorily during the trial for three years, the civil servant from the date of his appointment. The certification was deserved, and the mere fact that they were set against the existing vacancy on a temporary basis does not mean that they were temporarily appointed against the temporary vacancy.
