REHMAN versus STATE
Section 497 West Pakistan Weapons Ordinance (XXX of 1965), Section 13 D Bell, was not associated with the granting of independent advisers' grant and no such fault can be explained on record. The officers were involved in the investigation without permission. In this regard, the submission of challan prosecution by station house officers could not be delayed as the weapons recovered from the accused fell into the class of arms found in the CL (C) schedule of pressure linked to terrorist activities. The cases against the accused in the Hai (Special Courts) Act, 1975, guaranteed further investigation and accordingly they were admitted on bail.
