The Tribunal rejected the appellate tribunal's nomination papers to contest the constitutions of the Constituent Assembly 14 (5) and 68 constitutions of the Public Act 1976 (1973), Arts 225 and 1993 in the National Assembly. On the basis that he served as Assistant Advocate General, he was considered a civil servant and his services were terminated on the occasion of election, he was not eligible to contest the election.
