Criminal Code of Conduct (CCPC) Section 497 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 185 (3) was considered in order to approve a bail application whether there was any reasonable reason to believe the facts and circumstances of the case. There is a basis on which the accused committed the crime which proved to be a crime. Under section 497, the CRPC prohibition clause and the High Court were legally correct to refuse extension of bail privileges in favor of the accused.
