The trial court sentenced the accused to death for all three murders after the trial of section 382B (XLV of 1860), section 302/34, keeping in view all the circumstances of the case, including the merits of extension. The High Court changed the life sentence. The application was dismissed pursuant to Section 382B, CRPC's benefit to them which was not found to be appropriate under certain circumstances of the case.
