ABDUL MAJEED versus THE STATE
The testimony of the prosecution's witness statement provided to the accused was in the form of questions and answers in Section 265 (c) and 439 Explanatory Rules (XLV of 1860), section 302/324/148/149. Such a statement was to be considered as a statement under Section 161, CCPC, because the prosecution itself supplied the defense lawyer with the order of the trial court and recorded the cross-examination for the defense lawyer. Was prevented from using the statement. As a result, the witness (its maker) was released with the direction of the trial court to allow the defense lawyer to examine the witness in relation to his statement.
