Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 185 (3) Withholding the results of candidates, other candidates of the same examination had earlier filed a constitutional petition and the High Court had directed the authorities to declare their results. Those who presented similar situations claimed on the basis of this decision. Their results were announced and a constitutional petition was filed to achieve this goal but to no avail because their application was rejected on the basis of the slaughter. The appeal was allowed to consider the argument that the delay in filing the constitutional application was not caused by a mistake.
