The Sindh Local Government Ordinance 1979 was sufficient for the purpose of bringing the contents of the notification of the Union Council notification to the public notice in the Public Gazette, 1979, unless such notification was required to be further publicized. In addition to the publication of the notice in the Official Gazette without the direction of the law, it was so publicized that copies were sent to different departments and the notification was issued; publication of such notification in newspapers was not a legal requirement.
