Criminal Code of Conduct (CR PC) Section 551 of the Sindh Crimes Control Act (IV of 1975), the charges leveled against the accused in the Section 14 trial were that the accused was a notorious criminal, a dangerous person and a gangster. Threats were issued. And ambiguous in nature since the accused had no time, date and place to commit the crime, it was mentioned in the complaint against the accused, it did not show that the accused was a former offender, as per the Act. The provisions of the 1975 Act were for notorious criminals but in the absence of grounds for initiating proceedings against the accused under Section 14 of the Act, the legal worker had learned mechanically without taking into account the facts of the case. The pending action was ordered to be canceled
