R 4 (1) The extent of appeal shall be entitled to the appeal of a public servant, where the order passed by the authority has been modified in terms of the loss of a public servant, his `service, salary, allowance or pension. 4 (1) The Service Tribunals Act (LXX of 1973), the right to ratify section 4 appeals, was addressed to the respondent authority of the representatives of its public servants, who claimed to be entitled to the salary of his upgrade post. In respect of the respondent, the decision was left without authority. The civil servant was never paid attention to the payment of the upgraded post but a copy of it was given to the appellant's other colleagues who had similarly represented the respondent authority. Such letter was given on 13 10 1985, Government servant filed appeal on 10 11 1985 11 198 The appeal filed before the service tribunal on 1986 was thus, within time.
