FEDERAL GOVERNMENT versus MUHAMMAD SALEH
Appeals against the accused under Section 156 (1) (8) of the Customs Act 1969, 185F Criminal Code (V9 1898), Section 417, were charged with smuggling Indian currency into Pakistan, on bringing in recognized foreign currency. There was no restriction or prohibition. It has also been provided by the State Bank that no person can take any currency in Pakistan without any degree. In the circumstances, no exception can be taken on the verdict passed by the trial court.
