Section 12 Constitution Pakistan (1973), Article 199 Weapons / Gun License of the West Pakistan Weapons Ordinance 1965, the district magistrate canceled the applicant's arms license because the response to the notice was unsatisfactory and he was licensed. The recommendation was canceled. Senior Superintendent of Police District Magistrates had to present their own reasons for cancellation of public safety and it was not enough to rely on the recommendation of the Senior Superintendent of Police, the district magistrate was obliged to give specific reasons under section 12. The license revocation ordinance was set aside for violation of section 12
