Was used as a police constable. The fraudulent buyer, though a respectable person, could still be taken to the liberty of a free and unwanted person, who was not without a doubt and deliberately participated in the police in the absence of public witnesses. And even the Chemical Examiner's report would not improve. In the prosecution's case, the accused had the benefit of the doubt and was acquitted in the circumstances.
