‑Ch. Manzoor Ahmad, ex‑Sub‑Inspector Police, has filed this appeal under section 4 of the Punjab Service Tribunals Act, 1974, against the order. of dismissal, dated 5‑4‑1983, and has impleaded the Inspector‑General of Police, Punjab, Deputy Inspector‑General of Police, Lahore Range, Lahore and the Commandant Police College, Sihala as respondents.
2. By virtue of this appeal he has prayed that the impugned order be set aside as being illegal as well as unjustified.
3. Learned District Attorney has informed this department that as the appeal of the appellant is pending before the Additional Inspector- General of Police, on the ground that the decision in the murder case is still being awaited, therefore, the grievance of the appellant is premature as the final decision is yet to be taken by the competent authority. He has placed on record a letter from the Inspector‑General of Police to the Deputy Inspector‑General of Police, Lahore Range, Lahore, Annexure C‑I.
4. In view of the situation so brought to the notice of the Tribunal the appeal is adjourned sine die till the final decision of the case taken by the competent authority in this case and assigned to record room.
