Petition No.QSA‑371 of 1985, decided on 28th October, 1985.
‑‑‑Ss. 25‑A & 38(3)‑‑Revision‑‑Labour Court has no powers of revision or to revise its own order.
Faizur Rehman for the Petitioner.
The order, dated 11‑7‑1985 recorded by the learned Presiding Officer, Punjab Labour Court No.3, Lahore at Ferozewala is reported to be wrong and of no legal effect.
2. The case of the respondent was closed. The respondent moved an application for additional evidence which was accepted. The said order was challenged by the petitioner before the same Court in revision which has been disallowed. The revision petition made to the learned lower Court was misconceived. The learned lower Court has no power of revision to revise its own orders. The revision was thus rightly disallowed. So, it cannot be said that the impugned order is wrong.
3. As a result, the present revision fails and is thus, dismissed in limine.
A.E. Revision dismissed.
