This purports to be a revision petition against the order of the Additional Commissioner (Revenue), Multan, dated 28‑6‑56, by which he upset the order passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Lyallpur on 3‑7‑54, creating a second post of a Chawkidar in Chak No. 221 G. B. Tahsil Samundri, district Lyallpur.
Mr. A. R. Niazi is present and has been heard ‑for the peti tioner.
'According to Rule 42 of Rules, framed under section, 39 (A) of the Punjab Laws Act all orders of Deputy Commissioners in regard to fixing of the number of village watchman etc. shall be subject to control, revision, alteration by the Commissioner to whom he is subordinate. There is no provision for a further appeal or revision to any other authority. In the circumstances I am of the view that a revision in this case does not lie and the petition is, therefore, dismissed in limine.
