Civil Petition No. 779 of 1976, decided on 19th May, 1984.
(On appeal from the judgment, dated 9‑6‑1976 of the Lahore High Court in C. R. No. 558 of 1976).
‑‑ Art. 185(3)‑Punjab Pre‑emption Act (I of 1913), S. 22‑Time for payment of Zari Panjum‑High Court while finally adjudicating matter considering time given for depositing amount to be short and, accordingly allowing further period of one month‑Held: Order of High Court not only correct but generous and sympathetic to peti tioner‑Leave to appeal refused.

‑The petitioners had not deposited the probable slue of the land in a pre‑emption suit within time. The dispute was as whether the amount fixed as the probable value was corrects The Courts below have, after scrutiny, held that the amount fixed as the probable value was quite correct. However, the High Court, while finally judicating upon the matter in revision, considered that the time given or depositing the said amount was short. Accordingly, while dismissing the provision petition, the petitioners were allowed to deposit the remaining Zar‑e-Punjum within the further period of one month from the date of the order. The said order of the High Court, passed in revision is questioned y this petition for leave to appeal.
The order impugned before us is not only correct but, indeed, the High Court tins been very generous and sympathetic to the petitioners. There is absolutely no force in this petition, which is, accordingly, hereby dismissed.
