Appellant has been convicted and sentenced to one year's rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 1,000 and in default of payment of fine to undergo further rigorous imprisonment for two months under section 161, P. P. C. read with section 5 (2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947. Since the appellant's appeal is not likely to be taken up in the sear future, his prayer for suspension of order of sentence does not appear to wholly unjustified. The sentence awarded to the appellant is according suspended subject to his furnishing security in the sum of Rs. 15,00 with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of Assistant Commissioner, Multan.
M. Y. H. Sentence suspended.
